About the Dry Needling service

Dry Needling is a treatment method to address mysofascial trigger points. Characterised by tenderness on pressure with radiating pain, myofascial trigger points are areas of abnormal tension and tactile changes in muscle and surrounding fascia. Dry Needling involves the identification of muscular pain, the differentiation of the target muscle and the identification of a specific myofascial trigger point. Where a myofascial trigger point is identified in a musculoskeletal issue affecting pain, function and range of motion, Dry Needling may be an appropriate treatment.
